Medicare Reimbursement Account
FEP Blue Basic® members with Medicare Part A and Part B can get up to $800 back.
The deadline to submit claims from 2026 is changing—now due April 30, 2027.
How the Medicare Reimbursement Account works
While Part A is free for most people, for Part B, you pay a premium. FEP Blue Basic® members who have Medicare Part A and Part B are eligible for a Medicare Reimbursement Account.
All you have to do is provide proof that you pay Medicare Part B premiums.
Each eligible active or retired member, including covered spouses, can get reimbursement either as a direct deposit or a check, with no restrictions on how they use cash back.
For 2026 claims, the deadline for submission is now April 30, 2027.
Mark your calendar and don't miss your opportunity for money back. You have until December 31, 2026 to submit 2025 claims. Your 2026 claims must be submitted no later than April 30, 2027.
